With the click of a button via the touch screen HMI this system automatically configures everything needing that would normally be manually adjusted. This significantly reduces changeover times as all formats are validated meaning no additional checks needed.
Vision inspection using Cognex High resolution cameras with dedicated reject stations for non conforming labels means we never apply a faulty label. We also check as per product format the correct labels have been installed on the system further reducing potential errors.
Accuracy of label placement is high priority and by using Festo servo drives gives us the ability to apply the labels in any location on the 2 sides.
After label placement they are both checked for placement accuracy and if needed removed into a dedicated reject lane for checking/rework at the end of a batch.
